There you have it! Even Maxxy thinks the kid is super quick. I've been waiting to see how George would perform in race trim and he certainly lived up to the billing.07-12-2020 23:48

You could put anyone in the team as Hamilton's teammate and you would get the same outcome. Lewi's legacy doesn't need protecting as the numbers are already in the record books and are unassailable. They should however put George next to Lewis sooner rather than later, just to toughen him up a bit.07-12-2020 20:17

Perez has 9 career podiums and Hulk has 0 so the choice is obvious. Albon is a likable guy but lacks consistency and speed in qualifying. To compete for the championship each team needs maximum scoring potential and Perez is by far the best choice of drivers currently available, not to mention he brings a crap load of cash.20-11-2020 00:46

If you're on any team other than Mercedes the new regulations can't get here fast enough. Imagine showing up to races essentially knowing you have no chance to win or podium. That's gotta be tough on the motivation.18-11-2020 03:45

When you're young and fast as a rocket a little impatience is forgivable. Especially when you come in as a rookie and kick your world champion teammate's ass. Also you will note that Lewis has made the necessary adjustments to his driving style without losing an ounce of speed. Name any driver that has ever done that. Actually it's incomprehensible.18-11-2020 03:07

Lewis and the team tend to let up once the championship is in the bag. Early congrats to Lewis for an outstanding season and a record equaling 7th championship, the man is unquestionably a legend of the sport. Yet another missed opportunity for Max to get pole but it's his race to lose tomorrow. Great job from kid Stroll for an amazing lap. He has his moments, and this is a great reply to his detractors. Max appeared to be completely stunned. How awesome would it be if the kid has a great race and gives Maxxy a run for his money? Blatantly wishful thinking I know but I would love it!14-11-2020 22:58

His mentality seems to be that if it's not a Mercedes on pole then it should be him, so a little extra disappointment today knowing how difficult poles can be to come by.14-11-2020 23:19

Tough pill to swallow to not come away with that pole after dominating all sessions. Character building day for Max.15-11-2020 00:31

In other words, with the championship secured let's give F1 that reverse grid they've been clamoring for. It should be a fun and entertaining race so I'm very much looking forward.14-11-2020 23:33
